We would like to thank you all for supporting our 1st Annual Urban Fiesta Weekend in San Juan, PR last year. Because of you we have brought out over 3,000 people, which no other Memorial Day Weekend Getaway can boast in their 1st year starting up. And we accomplished that without any Celebrity Hosts or Performances. We also recognized that although the overall weekend was a Success, we have some takeaways and learnings which will this year even better.
Thanks to all the cities that represented this weekend.. Philly, Deleware, Houston, Dallas, Oakland, L.A. , Chi Town, Detroit, Miami, Minnessota, Boston, ATL, Charlotte, D.C., Baltimore, Richmond, Raleigh, all of New Jersey, Oakland, Indianapolis, Tampa, Denver, San Diego, Memphis, and of course NYC.
Once again, thank you for making our 1st year a success and we look forward to hosting you again this year.

Our Host Hotel is the Caribe Hilton. There are still reasonable flights leaving out of JFK the lowest fares were out of Newark but it wasn’t a huge difference to make you want to travel to Newark. This is our 1st year in Peurto Rico for Memorial Weekend. We have been doing Miami for years and decided last year was it. We needed a place where we can all have some good ole adult fun without the drama. We partnered with promoters across the country for this holiday weekend getaway and trust me when I tell you we are going to have a GREAT time!

Ebby, Im pretty sure that ALL the suites are totally booked. 4 more of my dudes just jumped on the trip and at that time they only had a couple king size bed suits left, now there is none. But still double check just in case someone cancelled.
Side bar: I just watched the stanky leg video,,, if I catch any dudes from Jersey doing this dance you will be tossed in the pool and clowned for the remainder of your trip. Don’t play yourself!!

From browsing around I notice that the Hilton is a little secluded, I prefer to be on a strip in walking distance of clubs, restaurants, bars, other hotels, etc. But I found a couple that are a little more centrally located for me.

Gotcha @ diamond but from what I have researched the Hilton is closer to Old San Juan were most of the clubs and bars are. The hotels in the conando area or isle verda area is a little farther distance from the action but they do have more hotels around the. What hotel are you thinking about. I hear the Marriot and stellaris casino is a nice one

I’m considering the Marriot and Stellaris Casino or the El San Juan Hotel and Casino. I got the address to all the clubs that the parties are going to be at and did a mapquest to see wich hotels were close to them, i realized that the party on Sunday is going to be at the El San Juan Hotel, and Club Liquid is 1.3 miles from Marriott and Club Lazer is 3.5 miles from the Marriiott, I couldn’t mapquest the Hilton because mapquest couldn’t pick up their address. Another issue is the casino, when I told my boyfriend that San Juan has Casinos that was what convinced him that we should go there instead of cancun again.

I’m back and forth on this. Since I’m the head planner for this trip. All options must be research. I’m glad this website has a place where people can write.Good look Diamond on the research. My girlfriends and I are traveling from outside the US so all options have to be explored. We don’t have the luxury of getting great flight deals (ahaha) nor is our currency the same. Still on the fence but I did have a question. If we book the host hotel on our own but still buy the packages for the parties etc…what are we excluded from?

The Urban Fiesta Weekend has evolved into something GREATER than expected in our first year. Because of the overwhelming response and the amount of people actually coming out.. Myself along with the rest of the Urban Fiesta Team will be securing additional activities and events from Thursday to Monday. We are still in the process of securing the venues and activities. Rest assured there will be something for everyone to do Thursday to Monday. Even if its playing Spades in my Suite
) Just kidding..
Check back periodically as we will update the site with new info.
We will send out emails when the additional events are in place.
In the meantime, make sure you book your flights asap if you haven’t done so yet.
And of course book your rooms. The Host Hotel has sold out their personal inventory of rooms. We have the only rooms left for the weekend at the Caribe Hilton. Call us now to reserve yours today.

Don’t feel bad, they deleted my post also. Everybody is not going to want to pay to stay at the Host Hotel if their is something more suitable in their budget. If someone posts information giving out other hotel / conodo suggestions that might fit someone elses budget their post shouldn’t be deleted. We are all here to try to get as many people in PR as possible rather they stay at the Host Hotel or not.

Well we are booked for a Villa at the Hilton right now but after reading a really bad review we have found a private condo right on the beach in Isla Verde were pretty much paying the same price but its real nice and right next to the Casino which is a plus.

We have a Villa booked as of now but I know someone who just came back and stated the rooms were much better than the Villas, they are not a good look and because its such a big group and everybody does not know each other so we can’t split up, I am kinda the comon denominator as of right now we are looking into renting a Villa in Isle Verde its right on the beach

Wow…I just got on the bandwagon a few days ago. I was actually going to D.R. but like Halfs friends folks started bailing out. There are 9 of us coming. My friends are not coming until Friday. I’m trying to get up the courage to come by myself on Thursday. Don’t know though…Natalee Holloway got a sister thinking. How come no one has mentioned the Sheraton. That makes me skeptical about staying there. The host hotel only have king sized beds left. When is everybody leaving to go home monday or tuesday?

Im kind of a adrenaline junkie so Im looking to do some sky sailing, jetski, swim wit the sharks, & choose from whatever else PR has to offer. Looking at the flowers in the rain forrest and the rum factory aint really on my bucket list ya digg. So get at me when feasible fam. In the meantime I’ll research some activities. General info for the Group:
1. I suggest getting a rental car if you want to explore, if not plan on taking taxis to and from the events (not wakable, especially in stilettos). Driving in Puerto Rico “Is at your own risk” if you feel me… and Parking is a minimum in populated areas….
2. If you are a gambler there are plenty casinos….
3. Dress to Impress Grown and Sexy for most clubs espescially in the Isla Verde area (Google it).
4. Brush up on your Spanish/Espanol, but keep it simple, Hola, Commo esta, Que pasa, bien, cuanta cuesta, donde esta, mira “pronounced meeda”, como se dice(deesay)….meaning Hello, How are you, What’sup, good, how much is it?, Where is?, Look/Hey You, and How do you say…?
PR is about the hookup, tip well and you will be treated better, use a little Spanish and they will respect u a little more for acknowledging the culture and therefore treat you better….the culture is laid back and often so is the service, don’t get pissed, roll with it and remember the tips above…
I will be in ATL for a couple days but back on the isle Thursday and I will post some info on additional activities….scuba, snorkling, rain forest trips, etc…

The Caribe Hilton SOLD OUT and we have a host of other attendees staying at other hotels on the island. The Hilton has received a ton of calls from these attendees and is worried that there will be an influx of people at their resort. The event grew bigger in it’s 1st year which is a good thing. I would hope that you would want to party with EVERYONE that is in town for the Urban Fiesta and hence we moved those events outside of the Hilton.
Guests at the Hilton will receive FREE Admission to the Beach Party at Cafe La Plage.
As for the All White Party.. We have been promoting an All White Booze Cruise for sometime now. We have outgrown the size of the boat and decided to move the All White Party to the club.

Im not knockn the influx of partygoers thats a wonderful thing i just feel “US” Caribe Hiltoners got the shorter end of the stick. Rest assured there will be events going on at the Caribe Hilton that are specific to our Host Hotel guests. We just wanted to create additional events for ALL attendees to attend. Trust me when I say our Hotel guests will feel the difference in hospitality.

South Jersey Katz Stand Up! San Juan Marriott will be poppin’! We show up Thursday & will head straight to the Bacardi Factory! Bksexy, Bigga any other females hit us up! If 2+2=4 then this is the same spot as LIQUID NIGHTCLUB but it looks like we wont have a problem coming here twice.. I imagine that in the daytime it will seem like somewhat of a new atmosphere with the pool, bar, Tangerine restaurant, and most of all the roof. Bottom line this place seems like it’l be the highlight of the trip.

Its a 3 min. drive/10 min. walk (0.6 miles), located west of Caribe Hilton. From the pix it seems that this one is gon be elbow to elbow and long lines out front. So if you didnt click on that Diamond V.I.P. button at the paypal checkout you definitely want to get here early cuz somethins tellin me this spot is gon be packed like Puerto R… uhmm never mind lol. FYI its off the strip and on a tight backstreet. Hope my V.I.P. comes in handy for this one.

I cannot lie.. this weekend was a blast! There are minor tweaks the staff can make for next year but all in all we had a ball. It would be cool if PR had clubs all in one area like Cancun so we can walk to them but other than that this was bigger and better than I thought. NY represented hard, I’m from the Chi so I’m gonna work hard to help bring out more peeps from the Chi Next Year. When will the pictures be up?

I too agree the weekend itself was definitely big fun. In Bigga’s defense and the other promoters – I unlike many people waited in line and the line was moving smoothly. 2 of my girlfriends bought VIP’s and got in throught the VIP line but then there was a sworm of people who came out of no where and disobeyed the lines – they just rushed the front door and created chaos. Bigga tried to refrom order but no one listened and everyone just kept piling in front. I think “WE” as the attendees created the problem. I was upset at all those who rushed the door, that was pure childish behavior. After finally getting in I had a great time. Bigga you guys should have more security out front next time to keep the ignorant people in line. All in All a Great Weekend. The Pool Party was the best I’ve been to and the Beach Party reminded my of the R-Kelly Fiesta Video. I will be back again next year and bringing a bunch of friends with me.

i had a blast in puerto rico…aside from club neon..everything was pretty much great except for the cab rides which is beyond any of the promotors control…i got to the white party thinking i wasnt getting in cause it was like 130…met a spanish guy and snuck in thru the side door lol..the pool parties were great..i think bigga did a great job!

Me & my girls enjoyed ourselves from Thurs to Tues. I didnt have those problems I guess because we got to the club early every night. Next year just get there early and you wouldn’t have those problems. I think the guys running this weekend did their thing. We will be there next year. 6 fly girls from NJ.

that white party waz krazy !!!! the line outside was so sick we had no choice but to play the front. big fella was trying to get us to move but we wan’t budging. I offered son $200 to get in but they still fronted. Seem like they were only worried about them band people. My money good to but its all good cuz security let me slide on the back door and the wait was worth it. that party waz bananaz. next year you gotta get that convention center joint. i see an easy 4,000 peeps next year coming down. good shit. oh and that beach party on sunday was ridiculous. stay up

Yo that shit was POPPIN!!!! mY ONLY COMPLAINT AS WELL was the all-white party, the security was soft and couldn’t keep the crowd in line, but overall PR was poppin, as far as club distance, it wasn’t that bad, and what the fuck the cab was only 3-5 dollars. I had a blast in PR May 2009!!! Didn’t get to go to the club Sunday night because me and my girls was wasted from the Beach Party!!! The white party line was a mess but it was cool once we got in after standing outside for a hot 1.5 hrs. Houston, Texas ladies represented and the NYC dudes loved the accent and assets
